dc.description.abstract | The present work has as main objective to analyze the impacts and challenges of the industrial automation in matrizeiros of the production chain of broilers. This is a topic of great importance for businessmen, consumers and governments, as the chicken market is very broad in Brazil and has an extensive production chain. In this way, the study started from a profound literary review, in which it sought to consider, besides the main theme (industrial automation), the impacts and challenges in the implementation of automation, in the areas of economy, environment, management and social. The work carried out aimed to gradually lead to aspects related to the concepts, data of the sector (economic and financial), among others, always seeking to maintain a systemic view of the exploitation of broilers in Brazil. It is observed from the study that although Brazil has one of the most developed poultry in the world, the impacts and challenges of maintaining this type of exploitation on an industrial scale with automation, still lacks greater care and management, especially the small companies in the country. The problems are as diverse as possible, from lack of financial resources, including credit difficulties; employee turnover; specialized technical support for installation and maintenance of the system; to the training of the manpower necessary to the operation of poultry farming. In addition to impacts with environmental consequences, such as the use of inputs that become polluting; the high consumption of natural resources such as electricity and the incorrect disposal of natural wastes. And social impacts such as unemployment, by the lesser need for manpower, but also bring the beneficial side, of better working conditions to the people who remain working in the sector. Challenges are then added in a way to seek solutions to these problems and impacts generated, and serving as warnings of the need for some incentives for governmental actions, including the participation of all society. | en |
