Avaliação do processo de combustão da biomassa (bagaço de cana) para valorização das cinzas geradas
Description
Sugarcane mills play an important role in the Brazilian energy matrix and use the biomass resulting from sugarcane crushing in the form of bagasse that is used as an internal energy source, such as electric power and steam, in addition to cogeneration for the national grid. distribution of electricity. Ashes are residues resulting from the combustion of sugarcane bagasse that are deposited in storage tanks and are often used as fertilizer. Bagasse travels a short path until it feeds the boiler as fuel and if it does not have proper milling processing it can directly affect the quality of the combustion for steam generation. In this context, the main objective of this work was to evaluate the combustion process of sugarcane bagasse for the ashes generated at two sugarcane mills in the State of Goiás. The production processes and the ash generated were studied fire loss tests, specific mass, FRX, XRD, thermal analysis and total carbon in the ashes. Through the tests carried out, it was possible to highlight among the four boilers studied the one that had the best results in terms of combustion. The moisture of the bagasse was also highlighted in the tests carried out, directly influencing the combustion process of the boilers. Suggestions for improvements in the process were presented to improve the quality of the bagasse as a raw material in the combustion.Nenhuma
