“Não se nasce selv, torna-se” : o selv como opgave em Kierkegaard
Description
This work aims to address the philosophical problem of the selv (self) as an opgave (task) in Søren A. Kierkegaard. It was thought of as an initial effort to collate six common misconceptions that we have found in the general theoretical treatment given to thistheme which we point out and avoid committing. To this end, we have considered three important interpretative dimensions - which fulfill our three specific objectives - in this subject treatment –, that are composed of the fundamental categories of the selv; the selv dimension given through its owndenial, that is, of despair; and the dimension given by the original triadic movement played by the selv to constitute itself. Each of which are addressed respectively in a specific chapter. This theme is centrally discussed in The Sickness Unto Death, 1849, but, as we shall present, these dimensions and constitutive categories have already been exposed in earlier works. The final product of this work reaches, from a three-pronged perspective, a broad setting of Kierkegaard’s great concern: the subjectively existing Individual who understands its own appropriation as a Task to be performed in existence.CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior
