dc.description.abstractThis study aims at contributing to the analysis dedicated to leadership and organizational culture in a private corporation. In this perspective, it tries to understand how culture influences the organizational performance from the practice of its main leaderships. The theoretical basis were approaches about organizational culture, leadership and leader, their background, theories and concepts and a field work of a single case study made at SUVESA of the Scania Group. In-depth and semi-structured interviews were applied to the main leaderships of the company that act in several areas, in which the analysis and interpretation of the data were based on a qualitative content analysis. The main results point out that the Managers of SUVESA of the Scania Group understand and conform to the organizational culture of the company and know clearly their characteristics. It also shows that the interviewed people are aligned about the concepts of leadership and understand their role as leaders in the company, as well as their impact in the organizational cultureen
