This paper examines the question of the economic results obtained by using two methods of production used by the furniture industry and these production systems on demand, primarily used by small businesses and batch production system, typically used by medium and large due to its higher productivity. In this sense, are some reflections on indicators linked to these two systems while pointing out the necessity of using these data in planning production. Thus, from a literature review applied to a case study, is explored in this paper the possibility of simultaneous use of two production models in a single production unit in order to maximize the contribution margin unit. Thus, by studying the application of their production systems in three products a company has been identified in different scenarios to determine a model system for the production of lower cost for each product, as well as indicators of most relevance to this planning.
