| dc.description.abstract | The Municipality of São José do Hortêncio does not have a Municipal Geodetic Network (MGN) that permits it to be a base of reference in topographic surveys, engineering services and real estate cadaster, and so it is not possible to do the cartographic organization and municipal maps. For this reason, a MGN was established consisting of 12 properly landmarks at the main avenue of the city situated in easy access places. The network was raised by the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) using the Relative Static and the Real Time Kinematic (RTK) methods, obtaining the coordinates of the two methods and analyzing the differences found, as well as possible errors in choosing the inadequate method of occupation. Due to the results found in the comparisons between the two occupation methods that had a standard deviation (SD) of 1.73 mm in the north and 1.92 mm in the east, we concluded that the Relative Static method provides the necessary precision for a MGN, since the RTK method, when presenting the centimeter precision, already expected for this technique, showed that it was not practical because it did not present the necessary and satisfactory occupational precision required for the network in question. | en |
