Projeto AS-BUILT 3D

Abstract

This paper presents a project that aims to perform an As-Built 3D of a petrochemical unit of the PetroX company using laser scanning on the industrial plant U-XX and development 3D model with all dimensions and physical and spatial configurations according to the current situation. The project will be developed by applying the best practices of Project Management according to the PMBOK 5 Guide. The Project will be held at the Engineering department of the PetroX company, with the assistance of the outsourced technical team responsible for the laser scanning and the supply of the point cloud data. The project´s purpose is to review the As-Built process using the available 3D technology as a tool in order to obtain faster and more accurate results in the update of the technical documentation. The final product will be the 3D electronic model which will function as the database in order to control the life cycle of the industrial plant and the transmission of all the engineering data, that will guide new projects to be executed.
