| dc.description.abstract | Knowing the location of a given person or a group in real-time has always been a subject of desire, both in business and in people’s private life. With the popularization of smartphones and mobile devices that have several resources withinternet access and GPS (Global Positioning System) among them, it became possible. Many users make use of georreferenced applications to share their location with their contacts. However, many of these applications use communication protocols that need to constantly access the server to synchronize the application with new data, unnecessarily consuming the user’s mobile data package in mobile networks. The Follow Us, application that is the result of this research enables, as the main feature, sharing thelocation in groups in real-time with high precision and frequency in the updates, using an appropriate framework to make the communication with the server. | en |
