dc.description.abstract | This case study aims to draw up a framework able to support micro and small businesses in relation to the decision, selection and implementation of a structured management system. Commonly known as ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, these systems enable the company to a more clear and concise vision of their processes and transactions. However, for a company enjoy the benefits of a system like this of efficiently and so it can make the investment in a coherent and assertive manner, must fulfill a few steps up to the deal. Such steps are a self-analysis of the organization and its processes, its available resources and those needed resources, according to the company's strategic planning. Once aligned this information, the company may start this new stage of organized and controlled fashion business, investing its resources effectively. In this work, we take as object of study the small business of child apparel segment, called the Grande Presença. A gaucho business, results of entrepreneurship, starting to plan the advancement and expansion of their businesses. However, like many other micro or small companies, that seeking affirmation and consolidation in the market, will need an integrated system to organize and control their information and processes and will need guidance on how to enter this new phase. | en |
