This article proposes a practice in interdisciplinary perspective, more specifically, a study of mosaics, involving Mathematics, Art, History and the theme Sustainability. This practice want to answer the question: What mathematics can be taught from the perspective of interdisciplinarity? From this questioning, this qualitative research aimed to bring interdisciplinarity as something possible and important to the daily practice of teachers in the classroom, both in math class, as in other disciplines. To demonstrate this, there was a workshop working with the above-mentioned proposal. Therefore, we analyzed both the activities, the students' reactions and their answers about the proposal in his logbook. The results showed that a practice in the classroom based on an interdisciplinary perspective is indeed possible and that its effects are positive for teaching. Interdisciplinarity, as well as mosaic, intends to put the pieces together, making learning something beautiful and lasting.en
