This article describes the method about Management of the Control of Losses based in the pyramid theory by Frank E. Bird Jr.. This technique, can be applied in any branch of performance, from the great industries of manufacture to commercial establishments. An extended vision encloses the methods for study of an industrial accidents searching, avoiding blame the victim as the main factor of the accident. This way, one searchs to find “Immediate causes” (practices and acts out of standard and nonstandard conditions), “Basic causes” (personal factors of work and system) and, “Lack of control” (of the system, the standard and the fulfilment) related with the fact. This article focus in a simple method so that the incidents be reported easily for industrial safety and treated in their cause preventing thus great part of the accidents.
