This thesis is dedicated to the concepts of intentional existence and significant experience in the grounds of Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics to lighten the idea of significant living experience. For the philosopher, the movement of understanding runs the breadth of the world of historical life and can be understood in the context of the factual intentional experiences involved in the circularity of distinct horizons that merge to find the proper sense. According to Gadamer, is in questioning our prejudices that the interpretation is structured and directs the manner of action of the being itself. The text was divided into two chapters that explore the concepts of existence and experience. The following themes were presented along the sections: philosophy of life, historical consciousness, intentionality, hermeneutics of factuality, game, practical philosophy and phrônesis. The notion of significant living experience in the philosophy of Gadamer is an exercise of understanding and interpretation involved with the practical wisdom.Nenhuma
