| dc.description.abstract | Through the present thesis one searches to understand the mediatization of the Brazilian indigenous peoples from the Caingangue tribes in the products of Rede Brasil Sul de Televisão, which belongs to RBS company, a media network from Rio Grande do Sul. The concepts of mediatization in the media processes and multidimensional dispositive are used to reach a broad comprehension, though the triadic relational perspective, the very process of mediatization of the Caingangues in the two main news programs of the network. The methodology consists in analyzing the signs of the production process found in eight news pieces, and the observation of the researcher as a participant. The present research is based on the quantitative and qualitative analyses of the empiric material, considering different discursive genres, although the main focus remains the media dispositive, where the operations which occur in each of its dimensions are analyzed (technical-technological, semiolinguistic, socioantropological) in producti | en |
