dc.description.abstract | The continuity of the professional formation has been understood as a demand to come with the life of the individuals in all knowledge areas. In a way that it contributes for the daily demanding of different professional needs, it has to correspond to the wishes and needs of the forming students. According to this, the present PhD research aims to know how High School teachers are providing their professional formation, how they evaluate the existent actions, what they hope from it and what they set out for its advance. The research also compares these conceptions with the estimated topics of a federal program for the continued formation of High School teachers from the public state service, the “ Programa Nacional de Referência à Formação Continuada de Professores do Ensino Médio, through the Programa de Incentivo à Formação Continuada de Professores do Ensino Médio”.
