| dc.description | [pt] A partir da década de 1990, a informação passa a ser central dentro das grandes corporações. Estas são portanto levadas a fazer uso de redes internas - as Intranets - para organizar o fluxo de informação. Este estudo teve como objetivo saber como os executivos, que delas fazem uso, a elas estão reagindo. Os resultados indicam que, apesar de serem percebidas como ferramentas que democratizam e fazem fluir as informações pela teia organizacional, as Intranets também geram novas formas de visibilidade e de controle. | |
| dc.description | [en] Since the 1990`s, information has become central inside big companies. The latter were thus led to make use of internal nets - the Intranets - in order to organize the flow of information. The present investigation aimed at finding out how the executives that use Intranets react to them. Results suggest that, even though they emerged as tools that make knowledge and information flow more democraticly inside the company, the Intranets also generate new forms of visibility and control. | |
