| dc.description | [pt] Este trabalho analisa as modificações na experiência do tempo no Brasil, na primeira metade do século XIX. Para tanto, são estudadas as transformações nos conceitos de história e literatura, com ênfase nas formas de enquadramento do mundo luso-brasileiro nas narrativas da modernidade. Argumenta-se que, ao longo da década de 1830, consolidou-se um conjunto de modificações conceituais marcadas pela historicização do campo discursivo e a conseqüente descontinuidade na experiência do tempo vivenciada pela geração dos fundadores do Império. | |
| dc.description | [en] This dissertation deals with the changes in the experience of time in Brazil during the first half of the 19th century. Therefore, concepts as history and literature are studied, with special emphasis on the ways in which the Luso-Brazilian world was arranged in the narratives of modernity. It is argued that throughout the 1830s decade a series of fundamental concepts are historicized. This process led to a discontinuity in the experience of time performed by the generation of the Brazilian Empire founders. | |
