Construção de um relatório acerca do uso de um chatbot para report de eventos adversos em pesquisas clínicas de vacinas
Description
The advancement of technology, especially after the development of chatbots, has made the clinical research process more accessible and convenient for participants and researchers; by reducing costs. On the basis of this scenario, the study aimed to: build a report on the use of a chatbot to report adverse events in vaccine clinical research. It refers to applied research for the development of technology in health, based on the customer development method proposed by Steve Blank, which consists of four stages that are essential to the development of new products: costumer discovery, costumer validation, costumer creation and company building. In this study, only the first stage was addressed, aiming to determine who is the target audience of the product and whether the problem that the chatbot is intended to solve is important to them. Key physicians in the conduct of clinical studies of vaccines and professionals in the field of technology with experience in the development of chatbots were intentionally invited to participate in the research. Data collection was carried out through interviews, of which two scripts were used, one aimed at medical experts, containing six questions, and another for the IT specialists, containing four questions. The data was analysed by the use of content analysis. 100% of the participants accepted the use of chatbots in the scenario of clinical research in vaccines. It was concluded that the full follow-up of these participants and the timely reporting of events can improve the efficiency of care and reduce risks related to the study data. Finally, from this project, a technical report emerged on the use of a chatbot to report adverse events in clinical vaccine research.Nenhuma
