Adaptação e evidências de validade de dois instrumentos baseados na Terapia de aceitação e compromisso : o Chronic Pain Acceptance Questionnaire (CPAQ) e o Commitment Action Questionnaire (CAQ)
Description
The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model is known as psychological flexibility and has been explored for different clinical conditions. In Brazil, there are still few materials and instruments based on ACT. The aim of this dissertation was to adapt for the Brazilian population, examine the reliability and explore evidence of validity of two instruments based on the ACT theory, the Commitment Action Questionnaire (CAQ) and the Chronic Pain Acceptance Questionnaire (CPAQ) in their original and brief versions. This is a psychometric study with 292 participants. The collection took place online through Microsoft Forms. Data were handled using SPSS 22 and JASP 17 using Chronbach's Alpha, Omega Mcdonald’s, Spearman's correlation analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Multigroup Factor Analysis, Mann-Whitney U test. Both the CAQ-Br and the CPAQ-Br in both versions were adapted and obtained adequate reliability for application in the Brazilian context. The CAQ is an instrument that can help in clinical psychology as it is connected to the ACT values process. The CPAQ, on the other hand, contributed to measuring the result and process in the development of acceptance of chronic pain.CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior
