Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IA) is defined as inflammation of the skin of the perineal, perigenital region, and adjacent areas due to contact with urine and feces. With the aging of the population and incontinence being a common event in this population, it is up to nursing to establish preventive strategies so that the incontinent patient does not develop AID. The aim of this study is to construct and validate content for an educational portal on the prevention of incontinence-associated dermatitis and nursing care for incontinent patients. This content will be hosted on the Educa-HRES Portal, located at the Restinga and Extremo-Sul Hospital in Greater Porto Alegre. Methodological design developed in three stages: 1st) Exploratory: Integrative Literature Review (RIL), seeking the best evidence for prevention of incontinence-associated dermatitis and nursing care to incontinent patients with the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library Of Medicine-USA (MEDLINE), databases, EBSCO Health, CAPES Portal. In the analysis of the studies included in the RIL emerged two categories that guided and subsidized the production of educational material, which are: a) concept, risk factors and specificities about IDA; b) nursing care for the prevention and treatment of IAD; 2) development of content for the educational portal; 3rd) validation of the content of the portal, through a committee of evaluating judges. For validation, the Content Validation Index (CVI) was used, which was evaluated by a panel of specialists and stomatherapists who have extensive knowledge on the subject. The agreement between the judges reached the score was 87.6%.The product generated, according to the Technical and Technological Production of the Nursing Area, is classified as Development of Instructional Didactic Material. In addition to adherence to the Nursing Area, it constitutes a real impact, considering that it will be housed in the Educa-HRES Portal. The theme prevention of dermatitis associated with incontinence (DAI) and nursing care to the incontinent patient will be included in the Continuing Education and Training Program of the referred institution and may contribute to qualify nursing care in the prevention of DAI and nursing care to patients with the disease.en
