| dc.description.abstract | The present research investigates the perceptions and circulations about the failure in the infrastructures of the Brazilian platform Globoplay in the discourses of the subjects. To this end, the subjects' speeches about failures within the platform and websites Twitter, Reclame Aqui and Downdetector were analyzed, and also in two specific cases of failure on the platform in 2021. The research covered the concepts of platform society, platforms and platformization, the infrastructures of platforms, infrastructural and television imaginaries, as well as opening the cases theorizing about Globoplay and Globo television. The research found that the frustrated, upset, incredulous and angry perceptions present in the speeches are a construction of an infrastructural imaginary of Globoplay and Globo, and related to an expectation of experience that is interrupted by the failure. Therefore it was found that the perceptions of the subjects, materialized in their discourses about failure, are based on ‘layers of frustration’, due to the lack of correspondence in their imaginaries about Globoplay and Globo television. | en |
