| dc.description.abstract | The present work aims to analyze the changes of the entity Fé e Alegria in the context of its identity and management as a social assistance entity, indicating perspectives for its process. In order to achieve the objective of this research, the qualitative approach and the documentary procedure were chosen, as the focus is on deepening the understanding of the object of study. The analysis of the documents was important for understanding the historical and contemporary performance of Fé e Alegria. The analyzed documents showed the trajectory and institutional transformations of Fé e Alegria, explaining its values, beliefs and practices, thus allowing to advance with the qualification of this work. All the analysis of the researched content allowed the reflection and categorization of the acquired material, since the collected elements were essential for an analysis and evaluation of the hypotheses. Through the analysis of the documents, the transformation of Fé e Alegria in its performance/management over the 41 years of operation in Brazil was noticeable. The research analysis indicates spaces for advances that can be implemented to qualify the entity's management. Research is also relevant in the field of educational management, as it plays an important role in dialogue with social management, boosting, valuing and enhancing the debate and contributing to a reference performance in the dialogue with the National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS ). As an intervention proposal, it is suggested the implementation of social management as a way to add the democratic action already practiced by Fé e Alegria. This implementation will consist of an element that enhances the strategy and the institutional routine, which could consolidate the sense and significance of the mission of Fé e Alegria, strengthening technical, ethical, political and autonomous conduction. | en |
