This research aims to understand the audiovisual remixability characteristics present in TikTok challenges, through an analysis focused on the audiovisualities of technoculture. The app has been gaining active users and becoming increasingly relevant as a social media platform for creating and sharing short videos with the use of visual and sound effects. The remix culture is presented as a concept and a practice that shapes popular culture and highlights the technocultural dimension of the platform. The importance of TikTok as a platform for the creation and diffusion of remixes through the "cut-out" effect, which deeply remixes the videographic embedding technique. TikTok’s media heritages and, such as the influence of the camara obscura in the photographic dimension and the state of televisual flow, as well as the commercialization of time on the platform, are also recognized. The methodology employed in this work combines practices of media cartography and archeology to slow down the frantic pace of the network and examine its properties, thus composing the layers of audiovisual remixability, which were characterized as: body, memory, game, platform, database, and interface. The analysis of the layers revealed the importance of the body as an image in the challenges and how it represents a way of remixing the written script in a visual choreography. Through the remixability of memory, the relationship between the durations and updates of past and present times that constantly occur in platform productions was perceived; and through the game layer, the dynamics of collected challenges, where participants propagate specific dances or movements to challenge other users to repeat them, creating a game mediated by the platform that updates and modifies with each new instance. In the technical dimension, the prominence of marketing strategies in the platform's actions as a business is perceived. In this sense, the TikTok database acts in favor of the brand's guidelines, favoring certain visual and sound resources in the production of new media objects. The importance of the interface and software is conceptually emphasized, starting from the visual metaphors used, which allow understanding the communication between the application and the users in the process of challenge production. By combining various strategies already used in other media and devices, TikTok offers its users deeply remixed audiovisual tools that, when interfaced and combined with their bodies and repertoires, update audiovisualities and foster the emergence of audiovisual products and formats with TikTok challenges.en
