dc.description.abstract | The way of working was greatly impacted during the first months of the covid19 pandemic, which motivated several companies and institutions to migrate activities
carried out in a professional environment such as offices, schools, universities among
others, to the worker`s homes, which started to telework in an emergency basis. This
research aims to investigate, through a literature review, the main aspects reported by
teleworkers that influenced their satisfaction with the ergonomics of the residential
work environment. As the methodological approach, qualitative and quantitative
research is used through a systematic literature review of scientific papers published
between 2020 and 2022 in the Science Direct database. After carrying out the search,
the material was cataloged using the StArt tool for literature reviews and 37 articles
that had topics related to ergonomics and to the user`s perception of the telework
environment were selected. The collected data were entered into VOSviewer software
to create maps for bibliometric analysis. The results indicate that factors such as the
shorter time spent commuting and the proximity to the family were seen positively by
and points such as lack of equipment and adequate environments to develop work
activities can contribute in a negative way for the worker`s perception of this type of
work. The results contribute to the discussion about the importance of structuring
adequate residential environments to receive work activities, with equipment that can
adapt to the use’s conditions, comfort, and privacy, which should be a concern not only
for the worker, but of his/her employer too. | en |
