dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to understand how the Middle and High School History Educators in Nossa Senhora Medianeira School, in Curitiba City, Paraná, connect PEC and Ignatian Pedagogy to their teaching practices. This reflection is a result of a postgraduate research in Jesuit Education. Anchored in qualitative approach, for collecting data it was applied a survey divided into two analysis categories. The educators aim develop critically students and commitmented to become agents of society, meanwhile, it is perceptible the interference of the market lobbying in their teaching practices. Lastly, in this paper it is exhibited an attempt to rise up strategies that could reach educational practices according to a Ignatian purpose stem from Ignatian Pedagogy and PEC. This research expatiate on a brief analysis of Jesuits historical educational field in Brazil, afterward it is presented na evaluation the practices' guiding documents in the institution.In the end of this paper, it is possible to notice the educators' perception of their teaching practices and how they concern and seek in develop critical individuals, engaged to others, and actors in and for a fair and equal society: two characteristics of the Jesuit Education. | en |
