| dc.description | The purpose of this article is to explore the offer of serial narratives in the Argentinian Public Television between 2009 and 2015, in order to determine whether they contribute to strengthening the principles of television quality promoted by the state-owned broadcaster in that period. To this end, four fiction series directed by renowned Argentinian filmmakers and dramatists were selected for analysis. These productions were examined according to parameters established by recent researches which are set to evaluate television quality: its educational value, its technical quality and its social interest. The analysis also shows the existence of a bidirectional legitimation strategy, by involving artists who are prestigious in their country's cultural field, in the television project. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo tiene como propósito explorar la oferta de narrativas seriadas en la Televisión Pública Argentina entre 2009 y 2015, para determinar si estas contribuyen a afianzar los principios de calidad televisiva promovidos por la emisora estatal en ese período. Para ello, se seleccionaron para el análisis cuatro series de ficción realizadas por reconocidos cineastas y dramaturgos argentinos. Estas producciones fueron examinadas según parámetros establecidos por investigaciones recientes para evaluar la calidad televisiva: el valor educativo, la calidad técnica y el interés social. Del análisis se desprende además la existencia de una estrategia de legitimación bidireccional, al involucrar en el proyecto televisivo a artistas de prestigio en la esfera cultural del país. | es-ES |
