dc.description.abstractMore and more companies compete for market and competition becomes increasingly fierce, the differential is the smallest detail. Companies seek the elimination of all forms of waste and losses, with a demand for higher efficiency of its processes and consequently the order cycle is crucial for a company to serve customers on time and quality. The objective of this study is to analyze and evaluate what the results are that the design and redesign of the order cycle can provide for the company under study. For this study, were reviewed theories on operations, productivity, processes, production planning and indicators. The research method chosen was applied case study, which seeks a better mapping of processes and a shorter lead time with superior service to its customers. At the end of this research, where the results achieved by the methods of mapping and process management in order to meet the objectives of this case study, it was concluded that the mapping process can generate gains for the company under study, the company can become increasingly competitive in their field of activity with this method of mapping, improve, measure, manage and control all business processes.en
