Description
The research aims to understand the role of the pedagogical coordinator in Jesuit Education Network (JEN) schools. in Brazil and its specificities, analyzing the attributions and practical actions performed in the exercise of their professional activities in light of the guidelines of Ignatian Pedagogy defined by the Projeto Educativo Comum (PEC). The theoretical references are divided into three groups: 1) historical reference on Jesuit education in Brazil found in texts by Serafim Leite, Rocha, Rosario, Nelo, Almenida and Ferreira Jr .; 2) Ignatian pedagogical framework found in documents of the Society of Jesus and in texts by Klein, Rodrigues and Franca; 3) conceptual framework in management, leadership, school leadership and Jesuit leadership presented in texts by Luck, Inghan, Lowney, among other authors. The research, qualitative in nature, had as its instrument a semi-structured interview with eight pedagogical coordinators from three schools of JEN (Colégio Loyola, Colégio Anchieta and Colégio Antônio Vieira) and an application for questions to all pedagogical coordinators of the same teaching units. From the reports of the coordinators, we present the profile of the coordinators of the JEN, their work contexts and their attributions, as well as the knowledge necessary for the proper execution of their activities, the specifics of its performance in a Jesuit institution and its relations with the PEC.Nenhuma
