| dc.description.abstract | The context of innovation and new technologies has encouraged the search for processes optimization through digital transformation. In this context, the Passenger Transport Group, in which this study was developed, established a Strategic 3-Year Planning Horizon (2021). Among the initiatives of this planning is the Business Excellence, developed with Value Engineering and Digital Transformation method. The Ponto Digital project was part of this initiative, and was selected from among 311 ideas suggested by the employees during two months of immersion workshops in the areas and prioritized among 42 digital potentials projects. Companies that have employees geographically dispersed, mainly in the road transport sector, face difficulties to carry out the correct registration and control of workday. The objective of this project is make registration of working hours easier for the 600 drivers of the company and to solve wastes related to the paper-based process. The results also demonstrate that the delivered product also brings greater transparency to the process, allows the driver to consult the next trips and the working hours notes in real time. | en |
