| dc.description.abstract | In Caxias-MA, in the 80's and 90's, a theatrical group, today very poorly remembered by the majority of the local population, staged several pieces with socio-political criticality, cording, in its artistic philosophy, art and social consciousness. The research developed here has an object of study the analysis of the trajectory of this caxiense Scenic company, called the Sombras Theatrical Group, analyzing the aspects of the cultural trajectory that best define the framing of the scenic company Caxiense/ Maranhão in the category of political theater. For this purpose, the objectives under which the research is founded are elaborated: to analyze the formation, the performance, the internal functional dynamics and the construction of the external relations of the scenic caxiense/Maranhense Company; To evaluate the theatrical art developed in the group Sombras in order to highlight and characterize the political aspects in their actions; Examine the interrelation of the trajectory of Sombras with the historical path of the political theater in Brazil. For the composition of the thesis, in addition to the bibliographic research and consultations in newspapers of the period of action of the dramatic group, it was also used the methodology linked to oral history, since oral interviews with the artists were performed, intending to Record and analysis of the memories evoked by them. | en |
