Legacy systems are usually very old and poorly documented software, but they need to be maintained because they are vital to the organization's business. Software archeology can help in this process that involves understanding the legacy system and providing information for the production of test cases. This paper presents a case study in which the feasibility of generating test cases from the information provided by software archeology is verified. Techniques and tools that do source code analysis are also presented and help in the process of extracting information.en
