| dc.description.abstract | Social networks are not new, they have existed for hundreds of years, but they only could show their strengths with the raise of the internet. Frequently, new people are attracted to social sites like Facebook and Twitter, looking for interacting with others and feelings of they are part of the society. When people are put together, its natural suppose that they can be used as potential channels of marketing and advertising by virtual stores. Companies are not ready to handle with this new way of selling products and there are few tools and studies driving them through effective ways, understanding how consumers react, what are their behaviors when they are reached by social networks focused campaigns and how they can be stimulated to share that content with their friends and acquaintances.
