The objective of the present work is the study about the right to information and its confrontation with the right to privacy in front of the advances of the mass media, including re-reading in the current context. The work begins by approaching the society of the spectacle described by Guy Debord, passing also by analysis and critique of Mário Vargas Llosa, although this one bears the criticism of the own culture. Furthermore, regarding the right to information itself, the ideas proposed by Ignácio Villaverde are proposed as a blank, the proposal of which is intended to be two-fold, including the right to inform and the right to be informed. Thus, the focus is on the relationship of the right to information with the need to convey true and impartial news, not confusing this right with the right to freedom of expression, whose bias is broader. In the meantime, it is necessary to study the limits of the right to information in relation to the right of personality, hermeneutical approach in the context of its conflict, to the extent that the law requires a reanalysis accompanying the natural evolution of society and especially the media.en
