dc.description.abstractConsidering the new organizations perspective related to the labor market, this article further a discussion about the transition from a traditional people management into the skills management system. The objective is describe the skills management progress in a Porto Alegre's Hospital - RS state. The study theoretical references mention: people management, people development, and skills performance evaluation. The research methodology was made on a practical, qualitative, and exploratory way. The data gathering was done using questionnaire document and considering content data analysis technique. Through this analysis it was possible to identify the skills management implementation into a Porto Alegre's Hospital - RS state - which still works to put in practice the skills performance evaluation.en
