The certification of sustainable building has been increasing in Brazil, mainly by the different certifications types that exist, being only in energy efficiency, waste management, water reuse or by different edification typologies. This paper presents a case study of Mistertech store’s design, inside Iguatemi Shopping in Porto Alegre, where we seek to achieve sustainable certification by using LEED CI (Commercial Interiors) evaluation and certification system. The work consist in identifying, through the use of LEED’s checklist, which criteria the project meet and witch it doesn’t meet, initially checking the score achieved and then suggesting design adjustment to the not meet criteria. The results show us that despite the store have proposed still on project phase the use of materials with sustainable certification seal and reuse large part of the room’s existing material, there is no way to achieve LEED CI as many criteria the Shopping mall must also meet. Thus, it is concluded that, to obtain the certification in Commercial Interiors, there must be a partnership between the store that seeks the certification and the location where it is inserted, or the store should look to settle in a place that already has certification.en
