| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation seeks to analyze internal elements and locational that affect the relative efficiency of the agencies of Banrisul, with the objective to determine the relative efficiency of internal same. Initially sought-if effect a historical the institution and its position in current national financial system. From the use of the methodology of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was possible to identify the relative efficiency of its units and, after the regression analysis and estimation of the influence of variables, was performed external new application of the methodology DEA, which obtained the relative efficiency decurrent only internal factors bank branches analyzed. From this study could-that external variables that impact in relative efficiency of the agencies are Banks installed in the municipality, the Gross Domestic Product, the Total Population and gross value added of agriculture and stock farming Sector of localities. Still, given the variables considered domestic inputs and outputs, may-identify that 60% of the units at the border of efficiency are located in municipalities with predominance of agribusiness or constitute-agencies large with many customers. | en |
