dc.description.abstractThe thesis aims to identify and analyze the enunciations that circulate in the initial training of licensees of Mathematics of Federal Institute of Piauí (Instituto Federal do Piauí - IFPI), more specifically, their enunciations about the pedagogical disciplines of their Course. The licensees of Mathematics of IFPI in the first semester of 2013 participated in the study. The empirical material of the study is composed of questionnaires answered by these students and interviews with eight of them. The theoretical framework of the study is composed of astute theorizing of Michel Foucault and the contemporary literature on the subject of teacher education. The results of the investigation indicate that the licensees: consider not to be enough to have knowledge of Mathematics to know how to teach it; do not visualize the relationship between the pedagogical disciplines and the specific in Graduate; consider the pedagogical disciplines important in initial training, as an aid, a technique to teach Mathematics; and, as a challenge, highlight the teaching of Mathematics more accessible and attractive to the students.en
