| dc.description.abstract | It is undeniable that the presence of the television, both in big and small Brazilian cities, interferes in, is linked to, is present in the ways of behaving, thinking and creating new everyday co-existence strategies at home or in the streets. The aim of this work is to show the other side of this issue, that is, to point out what the audience figures do to the television, how its constituents, the active social actors, operate the various devices of mediated interactions in the local everyday communication networks in the appropriation of the mediatic products offered by the television.
