The objective of the research is to understand, in the perspective of primary and therapeutic caretakers of carrying children of cerebral paralysis, the repercussions of this condition in the family. Cerebral paralysis ís consídered a riot sense-psycho-engine, that intervenes in the position and the development of the chíld, therefore ín the exploratíon of the environment. The injury happens on a stíll immature brain, with not gradual consequences, but they sígnificantly modífy the normal development of the child. With the installation of the upheaval, ít directly has a rupture of the balance of the bíological, and psychically social spheres of the indívídual, affectíng its familiar circle. The nature of the research is qualitative, being composed of interviews with the prímary caretakers of the children with cerebral paralysis (a biological mother and a motherlike's grandmother) , of the psychologists who had taken care of these caretakers, and of the physiotherapists who had carried through the reabilitator treatment of these children, who were between 3 and 6 years-old. The collectíon of data was carried through in the city of Recife, between the months of October and December of 2006, being the interviews made in whitewashing institutions and residences of the interviewed ones. Becoming sick of the child generates crisis and moments of brusque changes in the familiar dynamics, appearing of course the primary caretaker. As results of this work we can stand out that the professional support can be important so that a new functioning if has adjusted to the familiar nucleus, had to the modifications in the consequent parental Inter-relations to the cerebral paralysis in childreneng
